Album Update // DECEMBER

It is a very weird feeling, going to the studio for the last time. Working on those finishing touches. Getting nervous while altering even the smallest of details. Like any good project of art, you should know when to stop. For us, the time came to close of the creative process. It almost feels like surrendering yourself to the record and the music itself. For so many months, you loved, hated, struggled and caressed it and now the time has come to let it evolve on its own. This is not a bad thing. We are super excited for everyone to hear the album and for it to grow into an experience that is unique to the person having it..

This process of mixing definitely wasn't an easy task. Many late trips to the studio were taken and even more feuds between us ourselves had to be resolved, but we kept on looking forward in the same direction so this never felt hostile or wrong. As invested in this projected as we are, it only seems natural we fight for it so strongly.

At this point, we also would like to thank Jannes van Rossom, who in our mind already did a great job in making I Am Wolves sound on the record like we sound on stage. Organic, dynamic and big. Thanks for dealing with our shit, thanks for believing in our music and thanks for just being a cool dude!

This month has been rather quiet, most importantly because all of us focused on finishing the sound of the album which is an intense process. We will be back in January with some cool updates on the videoclip and some new merch! Love xx
